my prePosterous is on my Facebook

I love Posterous blog functionality, options, whatever! There is absolutely nothing easier in the blog world.
 
I just read this: http://blog.posterous.com/new-on-posterous-autopost-to-f-6001 I've tried it out and it works! My prePosterous blog now appears as a tab in my Facebook profile. Woohoo!

Sailor's Delight

Mother Nature's hips are weird

Why would a plant that makes beautiful roses in a deep/bright fuschia color produce rose hips that are orangey-red and look just like cherry tomatos? Why aren't rose hips the same color as rose heads?

Remembery

I love the changes of season. I want to always live in a place that changes seasons several times a year.
 
Every autumn is like the first. Every colored leaf is beautiful. 
 
I wanted to try out the picture gallery feature here, so you get to see my autumn colors.......My photos are nothing special, but walking in these scenes was. Photos are a remembery.

Is This It?

I've had "make a good-for-nuthin' blog" on my Round Tuit list for ages. Been wanting to have a space where I can post just Stuff. Useless stuff. Passing thoughts. Like I don't even care if anybody reads it, it's just so I can write it. A blog that would be way more fun than my other blog, which is devoted to posting helpful, useful items for educators, students, writers, and webpage makers. Ho hum.
 
Could this be it? Could I have just happened upon a tool that makes my round-tuit procrastination difficult?
 
Yup, having Posterous making it as easy as email has sure got me sucked in..... so far.

Am I Spending It or Wasting It?

Since yesterday I've been learning to waste time playing Spore. I don't say "wasting time" negatively at all. It's a skill I'm not too good at, always feeling like I need to be, um, doing something, um, productive or whatever?
 
My partner asks, why is watching TV "spending time" and playing Spore "wasting time"?
 
I don't have an answer.

more features

Just found and subscribed to the main Posterous Blog: http://blog.posterous.com/ 
 
Reading that, I've found out about a few more features.
 
One is the ability to make private posts to share with just selected people. The address to email your private post to is private@posterous.com. They reply and give you the secret URL that you can give to the people who you want to share that post with. This post won't show up on your public Posterous site or in your RSS feed.

my first prePosterous post

This is my first posterous page, just to test it out. Thanks to Clint Lalonde for the heads-up about Posterous: http://clintlalonde.net/2008/10/06/posterous-is-the-easiest-way-to-publish-content-to-the-web/

Basically, to make your posterous page/post, you create and send an email to post@posterous.com
- Subject line is the post's title
- Body of your email is the body of the post
- An attached image is embedded in the post
- An attached PDF also becomes embedded

All of the above was introduced by Clint. I'm going to add a Word document, a .txt document, and an HTML document to see what happens with them. Posterous says you can also attach videos and MP3s.
