April 2010 update: The webcam video below is showing the NEW nest, live as you see it.

This one is in Sidney, BC (Vancouver Island). Three eggs last week, this week 3 eaglets hatched. The babies look like they're wearing sunglasses. If you wait a while, the mom and dad change shifts to take their turn at nest-sitting and feeding the babies. One of my email buddies said they saw Mom bring a live gopher to the nest!
Here's a tip. Leave the page open in the background with the sound on. You can hear the eaglet when he's out; sounds different from the background birds. And when the parents change shift, there's some loud eagle sounds.
